POSITION SUMMARY 

The EQ Shipping & Receiving Specialist is primarily on the floor of the warehouse, they take the lead on shipping, receiving and stagging inventory.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Physically receive items, unloading trucks, inspecting incoming shipments for damage, tag items with Job information, photograph incoming items. 
• Prepare for live loads for outside installers. 
• Staging Equipment keep the warehouse organized by project. 
• Maintain a map of the warehouse, indicating where projects are stored. 
• Schedule Recycling Pickups for Wood, Cardboard, and Trash. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

• There is no required Education or Experience requirements for this position. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required 
• Strong written & verbal communication skills; ability to explain technical and complex concepts in a simple and concise way to ensure ease of understanding. 
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to quickly adapt as business needs change; ability to address difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence 
• Be able to use hand held power tools, experience is a benefit but not required. 
• Help build crating for safe transportation of equipment. 
• Help fill in other warehouse positions when other staff is off. 
• Must be able to pass a training class and safely use and maintain tow motors, experience is a benefit but not required. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS 

• Business Proficiency in English is required

• Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer 
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing

• Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

This role may work in a warehouse and on construction job sites. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal. All required Personal Protective Equipment will be provided by the company.    

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 

May require occasional travel to other facilities within the region.
