CFSE Design Services was invited to provide an updated concept for the existing bar and dining space for the Doubletree in Willow Street, Pennsylvania. The layout and finishes were dated and were not inviting to the guests which lead to the loss of business to local restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. We were given creative freedom regarding layout, finishes, décor, and lighting. We moved the coffee bar from the back of the space to the main entrance to the dining room which helps to draw in guests as they’re walking through the main corridor of the hotel. The bar received a full facelift both visually and operationally allowing the staff to beautifully display liquor and wine while easily securing and hiding these items during breakfast hours. The cooking was relocated to improve service flow for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services while maintaining a soft and elegant front of house appearance. Guests have the option for made to order coffee and food, grab and go drinks, snacks, alcoholic beverages, pastries, and sitting down for a drink at the bar, all while improving hotel staffing efficiencies. Through conceptual design with the hotel management team and architect, to gaining approval from the corporate team, CFSE was able to provide a visually appealing food and drink service solution and the equipment and millwork packages to successfully produce a space that our client is thrilled with and will act as a model within the company and industry.
